Research Experience:

Dr. Zhang is currently an assistant professor, master supervisor and vice director of the Department of Electrical Engineering at Guangxi University. He holds a Ph.D degree in Xi’an Jiaotong University (Outstanding Doctoral Graduate) and a postdoctoral fellow of the University of Macao (Class A). He has long engaged in smart green energy management and power energy saving strategy research and works as head or backbone personnel involved in more than 10 scientific research projects, such as “National key R & D plan of the Ministry of science and technology”, “National Natural Resources Foundation”, “Science and technology development fund of Macao Special Administrative Region” and “Key Laboratory Open Project”. Dr. Zhang has published more than 40 SCI/EI papers with more than 20 SCI papers in professional international journals (two papers have selected highly cited paper by ESI). Dr. Zhang has authorized 5 invention patents and has applied for 6 Chinese invention patents and 1 PCT international patent. In addition, he has participated in the organization of 2 IEEE international conferences as the Session Chair, and served as the invited reviewer of 29 international high-level journals and 14 international top conferences. And he has reviewed over 230 papers for those journal and conferences. Due to his excellent peer review works, he has received many honors and awards, including “Top Peer Review Awards (Top 1% in Engineering Field)”, “Top Peer Review Awards (Top 1% in Cross-Field Field)” and “star reviewer” of IEEE Power & Energy Society and IEEE Transactions on Energy Conversion.
